Sorry I've been quiet for a while guys! Time gets away from me, even though I have so much to post about recently! You certainly have lots to look forward to!
It was my lovely friend Cat's 21st birthday recently. She blogs over at One Hand in My Pocket. As part of my gift, I got a bit thrifty and crafty and came out with this necklace for her:
I was SO tempted to keep it for myself as I liked it so much but that's the beauty of homemade gifts; you can just make another one!
To make this necklace, I used this tutorial from Little Miss Momma which is actually a no-sew project-perfect for those of you who might be needle-and-thread-aphobic!
It was really very simple to do but a little time-consuming making the flower "petals". Once they were done though, it was super-speedy to put together :-)
Cat was really pleased when I gave it to her and she even did a post on her blog about it. This is where I own up to pinching these photos from her but have no fear-I have permission :-)
I think I'll have to raid my big box of fabric to make my own version of this soon!
