I had an urge to make cheese straws yesterday. Don't ask me where it came from!
I adapted the recipe I used slightly but only because I chose to make the straws into twists and sprinkle them with finely grated parmesan before cooking. I have a fan oven and with the temperature at 180 it took exactly 15 mins to get them looking golden and lovely!

For this batch, I tripled the mixture. I didn't have any French mustard so I used Dijon instead which worked just as well. You obviously get the little grains but that didn't seem to be a problem.
Let me tell you, they tasted FAB! :-)
