I get excited over the smallest of things and finally managing to make a button for my blog is one of them!
I spent hours this evening trying to figure it out, using several different tutorials that really weren't very clear. Finally, I found one that was easy to use at this site: http://oikology101.blogspot.com/2008/09/make-your-own-button-for-your-blogger.html
I made my button using Adobe Photoshop Elements and let me tell you, that was the easy part!! Getting the damn thing to link up properly was the pain but the above tutorial helped out there and now I have a brilliant button on the right of my blog, just under the "About Me" section, along with the code for all of my lovely readers to copy onto their own blogs :-D

I had to laugh at your comment about making a button for your blog!! It's all a bit confusing in the beginning isn't it!! I was truly a fish out of water when we entered the Blogworld, but what fun we've been having and how amazing other bloggers are.
